  1. A brief reminder that Tiller’s Haven will be joining the Farm Stand and Garlic Celebration Day, Sunday, September 14 with new harvests and a pickle corner to celebrate all things garlic!

Some of our new harvests include: Broad beans, Okra, Fennel, Green Onions, Carrots (Chantenay and Nantes varieties), Potatoes (Red), Beets, Sweet and Hot Peppers, Daikon, Roselle, Amaranthus (red-green), Cucumbers, Zucchinis, Corn, Basil, and Chicory Lettuce.

Having started our farm project this Spring we don’t have garlic among our harvest this year. To celebrate all things garlic, we will share our favorite pickle recipe to go with the garlic our neighboring farmers will be selling. Our pickle corner will have baby varieties of carrots, cucumbers, peppers, broad beans, eggplants and unripe melons – to prepare your own pickle mix and start consuming after one month!
