Come participate in a shoreline clean up of Green’s Creek in Blackburn Hamlet. Supplies loaned from the Ottawa Riverkeepers WaterSHED. Come pitch it to make a difference in our local waterways. Safety talk starting at 10am. We will be walking along the shoreline of Greens Creek and picking up trash from the river. Parking available. Inquire about volunteer hours if you need them signed off for high school hours. Ottawa Riverkeepers WaterSHED loans out items like buckets, grabbers, tongs, gloves, sharp object containers and more. Please wear appropriate footwear for shoreline terrain. Bring water and what you need to be safe in the heat/sun.
