Seedlings for Sale. Organic and Local.

Chi Garden has local, organic seedlings for sale through the rest of spring season, for home growers and market gardeners and small farms. If you are part of the Just Food Community, please ask us about special discounts.

Address and location: 2391 Pepin Ct. at Just Food Community Farm. The large greenhouse to the left of the Big Red Barn (west side). We will be onsite, or nearby doing farm tasks. There will be signs on the greenhouse entrance. Send us a message or call 613-981-4568 if you don’t find us.

Hours: Sunday to Friday from 10-6 until end of May. On Saturdays, find us at Main Street Farmers Market from 9am-2pm at the Chi Garden booth– address is 185 main Street (across from green door). We will bring seedlings to Saturdays. We will be at Orleans Blooms Event on May 18, Sunday, from 9am-3pm (250 Centrum Blvd, Orléans, ON K1E 3W6) and will NOT be at the Greenhouse.

Seedlings: There are over 20 varieties of seedlings to choose from – all organically grown seedlings, including:

Tomatoes, squash, Asian Heritage Corn, Bitter Melon, Perilla, Molokhia, Purple Mustard, Red Flowering Choy Sum Medicinal herbs, edible perennials, heirloom beans, sweet potato slips, tree saplings. Full list of seedlings and price below.

These seedlings come from varieties we’ve tested, grown, and selected over many seasons right here in our Ottawa garden. Whether you’re just getting started or looking for resilient plants with history and soul, we hope you’ll find something for your garden.

We also have a small number of new seedlings we are testing out this year. Ask us about konjac, Chinese toon trees, chestnut trees, goji berry trees, Yunnan large root leek (*Allium hookeri*).
